Level 3 (RQF) Forestry First Aid (+F) Bolt-On
The Forestry Commission recommend that anyone working in core operations should undertake additional First Aid training delivered with a forestry context. ‘Core operations’ can include (but are not limited to) harvesting, civil engineering, mechanised ground preparation, planting, fencing, pesticide application, forest nursery activities plus lone workers and site supervisors.
This course will provide you with the knowledge and competence to treat and manage injuries or illnesses that could occur whilst working in a forestry or agricultural environment. Learners must hold or be working towards a First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work qualification prior to attending this course.
Additional +F training should be repeated every 3-years in line with your First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work qualification. Annual refresher training is also advised to keep your knowledge and skills up-to-date.
