Catastrophic Bleeding Control
Basic First Aid courses don’t include training on how to deal with bleeding that is so severe it could result in the death of the casualty in a short time.
Our catastrophic bleeding control training will teach you the skills needed to deal with casualties that are suffering with a severe arterial or venal haemorrhage that means their lives are in immediate danger. We will cover the correct use of different types of tourniquets, different types of haemostatic dressings, how best to control bleeding and more.
This course might suit those that work in the following industries…
Equestrian | Agricultural | Saw mills | Forestry | Tree surgery | Armed Services | Farming | Game shooting | Gun clubs | Security | Construction, as well as event medics and those with first aid or first responder qualifications that would like ‘bolt-on’ qualifications to enhance their skillset.
